I thought the same thing... straight from a standard SK/BA loop hike
to something off the North Rim. I feel somewhat a tenderfoot, still

Word is May 15 is the new firm opening date for both the lodge and
hwy67.
For a couple years they tried opening Mother's Day weekend but that
died the year...
