Ratsack Blues!
Hello All,
My hiking partner and I have been patiently waiting for our Ratsacks
ordered from "Outdoorarmoredgear" to arrive in the mail....We were
afraid...

I agree hiking/trekking poles are a huge plus. I always carry two
hiking poles with me on all hikes. I equate it to the difference
between a 2 wheel drive...

Seems just a hair young to me...I was 9 on my first trip down in '84
and my nephew just did the S. Kaibab BA loop a couple of years ago at
the age of 9...

I hiked with my son at age 8. Be very careful of the weight! No more that 20% of their body weight. With the hike you have planned should be fine if...
