My three different Grand Canyon place name books all say that Muav is a Paiute word
meaning "divide" or "pass" (as in Muav Saddle).

rock slide. I'm not really fond of heights/exposure.
Two suggestions.
Do a New Hance to Grandview loop sometime, and allow a half day to take
the 15-30...
