I use the "Parachute Bags"...Get them at REI. They hold the rocks and you can spread them out. I have used these instead of stakes for all my hikes..at...

If I'm not mistaken, there are picnic tables at each campsite in
Bright Angel Campground. Tie off to one of those and leave the stakes
at home.

Just out of curioustity, I have tried 3 or 4 different stakes at
corridor campgrounds, they all have bent. You just need to use bigger
rocks.
