TYVEK is a much better sun shade than silnylon. I have used a TYVEK
ground cloth/tarp in the Canyon and it is a very good...

We stayed at Jacob Lake Lodge in one of the small cabins and found it
quite nice. The price was also reasonable given the location.

Mike, online would be great but there is no reason to eliminate
walkups. By talking to the rangers at the BIC you can always get
some kind of worthwhile...

I think you are allowed to get up to 3 permits per waitlist number.
They need not all be in your name. I have gotten my permit and one
for a friend...
