Something my friends and I use on trips is something we call a skull
cap. It is the bottom third of a gallon plastic milk jug. We use it as

Alan, We hiked the Ranger trail, crossing the Lawson Trail, a couple
of years ago.
You can see the track (trail) where the Ranger Trail contours...
