There are some sites lower down the drainage from the one site right on the
trail. Are they 'approved' by NPS...

SK was almost pretty quiet with only 1 other rim-river dayhiker sighted
plus some light river/camping folk and...

SPOT on SK
SPOT worked perfectly on my SK dayhike today from rim-river. Google
maps had data for every 10 minutes of my hike.
SPOT though is known not to work well...
