It is the exact same water you drink on the South Rim in the hotels and food establishments.

Mouse, I have never heard of anyone having a problem with the water on
those trails and in the campgrounds. I have enjoyed that water on many

If you have this much flexibility and really have no real preference, I'd apply in May for late
Sep. You'll know if you have permit or not well before...

Kurt - There probably will not be much difference in the two. It
depends on which month has the most applications. A call to the BCO
might answer that...
