I know that Scenic Airlines flies in to Tusayan from Las Vegas... There
are probably other airlines and cities to depart from, I'm just not aware
of...

Satellite Phone
I've had very good results using satellite phones in the canyon.
Satellite phones are the only portable phones which work inside the
canyon.
