Lately, I've been riding and hiking on the rez north of the Little Colorado all the way to the Vermillion Cliffs at Lee's Ferry. The permit is only 5$/day...

Sowats/Mountain Sheep Spring/Kanab/Jumpup, etc on the North Rim is in
the Forest so you don't need a permit.

My last hike in the canyon was last November. 6 days/5 nights with 3 nights at Clear Creek.
The weather was perfect with highs in mid 70's, lows in the low...
