When I hike solo, I LOVE the freedom, but I've noticed I take smaller
risks. I would guess that's the compromise for most people, as long

I agree with the first two, and #3 is clearly not having necessary
info about the area and #4 is hiking alone, although I did #4 on
Monday myself...
