Very light, yes, but check out the girth. 46" at the shoulders, even for the large size and 43" at the hips. That's more than 10" less than a typical mummy...

My bias is toward down, mostly because I'm not convinced that there's a synthetic fill that's as efficient as down for warmth (at least any that's available...
