I hike in trail runners. I take two of the bags the newspaper comes in. If my shoes get wet I put on dry socks with the plastic bags over them so my feet...

Dave, Depending on where you would camp at Horseshoe Mesa (proximity), if you do, I believe you should be able to get water at Page Spring that time of year....
