Prior to a trip I spray (saturate) the bottom of my ground sheet with permethrin. Also all around the edges of the up-side of the sheet, maybe 2-3 inches...

Yes, it'd be totally legal to camp there at the River - the camp upriver from the
mouth - since boat trips do it. Of course, there may be a boat trip...
