try either openroad.com or airportshuttle.com, this is the company that shuttles from Phoenix to the south rim on a daily basis.

Don't know if there's a shuttle from PHX to the SR, but the last two times I've traveled to the SR I rented from Thrifty (September and November). I paid...

The best I've been able to find is taking a tourist flight over and back from Las Vegas - beats the drive!
