I think with that permit I would stop at Dripping Springs and tank up
then camp at the first bench on the Boucher trail. The next day I would

I think it doesn't make sense to do Boucher on your first GC hike,
esp since there is a viable alternative. Maybe you'll see a little more
going that way -...
