Hi Roger...The only advantage for Hermit Trail is during winter conditions - because the trail has a more western exposure snow and ice melt off much faster...

From BAC, hike the SK to the Tip-off. Pick up the Tonto, which is fairly flat and about 4 miles to IG. IG to SR on the BAT is another 5 miles. I think...
