Same thought. Seems tedious all the way the DS and back from YP just
for overnight water. I would carry it up from Boucher and spend the
time at the Pt.

I would skip any idea of caching water.
If you are camped at Yuma Pt., it's not a long way back to the car. You might be able to do it with 2 quarts or so....

Pray for rain and the potholes at Yuma point will fill up and it won't be an issue. Haul enough to get you through a dry camp on Yuma, in case the rain...
