I am allergic to iodine so the tablets and crystals are not an option for
me. I first used a filter but have long since been using aqua-mira with no
problems...

Warm iodine water is an acquired taste. You do know for sure it has
been treated. Gookinaid/Gatoraid help mask the flavor. Thirst works
wonders on it.
