James, you'll be glad to know that Cathedral is a very easy day hike - no treadmill prep required :) It's only about a mile to river with some scrambling...

ROFLOL - uncle. I did look on the El Tovar breakfast menu, they used to offer apple pie with cheddar cheese for breakfast. It was yummy, but I didn't see it...
