I second the vote for Abbott and Cook's 'Hiking The Grand Canyon's Geology'. There are fabulous trail descriptions, fountains of geological knowledge as well...

The difficulty is not so much the DVD as other parts of people's lives that can get difficult, and then you still want to do some hiking of your own sometime....
