I received my permit last week from 6/1. Sorry to say but if you haven�t heard by now you probably didn�t get in.

Hi Darin, I amy waiting for mine as well. I was able to fax it in on the morning of the 2nd so we will see. Hopefully I was flexible enough as to itinerary...

I am still waiting too but it has not been long enough to become concerned yet. October is a popular month.

I should have been more clear. During the initial month that permit requests are accepted, requests delivered in person are placed with other written requests...

There probably is nothing special going on then, other than fact (IMHO) that October is probably the best month of the year to go to The Canyon.
