In Zion NP they issue free restop 2's for backcountry & canyoneering & climbing use. They aren't exactly free (cost the NPS 1.30 ea) because there are permit...

Even worse, if you don't poop in the sand there (as you should not ever) and go upslope near the river area then excess trailing degrades dunes and sparse...

Hance Rapids is such a small camping area (relatively). The only place I can think that works is on the bench as you come down Red Canyon drainage right...
