Yeah, that's what it comes down to - carbon - since that element is likely
responsible for most of the mass of our food. And the carbon you eat
has gotta go...

I agree with John and Joe (on the dehydrated food). It makes sense that if
we carry in our food in a dehydrated state, and then carry the waste out in
a "wet"...
