As others have mentioned, the Royal Arch route is a considerable stepup from the Escalante route. Most of all, I'd make sure that you had enough time to do it...

Yes, Josh, many beaches and sandbars experienced a short-term gain in sand after the 2008 flood.
Where did you see smaller sandbars? When did you look? ...
