I believe there is a spur off the Hermit Road near the Abyss that will connect you to the Boundary Road. Check out the Kaibab NF Map if you have one...

You could ride your bike on FS Road 328 that is the same road used by vehicles for access. The Boundary Road is marked with an NPS sign that states...
