Hi Daisy
I've done the trip many times. The best way to go is down the South Kaibab
Trail and then back up the Bright Angel Trail. Carry about 3 quarts...

You'll have a great time! However, one more word of warning, go slow on the way down. Its a typical beginners mistake to go way to fast on the way down...
