I've heard that deer creek is a slot canyon and not that easy to negotiate, as
I'm a pretty green hiker, I thought it would be best to go tapeats and up...

Thanks Bob, my only concern at this point is the exposure, being a "flat-lander" from Florida, the descents can be interesting. Does anyone have suggestions...

Have done the loop at least a dozen times and always prefer
going clockwise tapeats to deer creek ;I always stash water at top...
