I haven't seen these in use, but they got terrible user reviews on Amazon.
I have used the Kahoola Microikes on all kind of trails here in Maine for

Another option, if you want something more stable than an instep crampon or
microslikes, but not full-on crampons

My problem with the in-step type is the spin around and have to be constantly adjusted. BUT they are better than nothing.

I strongly recommend Kahtoola Microspikes. The In-step crampons are cheap but can be a real pain in the instep. They are minimally acceptable. I've used...
