Not a great summer trip as water on the Esplanade would be a big
problem. It takes a day to hike out to Mat from Supai village and the
other ways in are...

I live at sea level, and I have never once had altitude problems at the
canyon. I have had them in Colorado, but not the canyon. Marsanne
