Tom....this actually was a route pioneered by George Billingsley and Allyn Cureton...the 150 ft of exposure is in the supai...I don't think there was any...

Bob...yes..the running water was above the redwall...at base of the supai...don't think you can camp below the redwall. best to you/yours.....Doc

Geez Doc, where were you taking poor ol Harv? If you approach Matkat from the east (Olo side) via the Sinyala Fault break, you can bypass the "grim" section...
