I have run into aggressive baby rattlers (pink) on the Bright Angle. Aggressive enough that they would not move even if you squirted them with water....

A rattlesnake bite warrants the steps you describe below with an evacuation. Rattlers do not always envenomate with ~20% of the time they solely bite....
