Does anyone know the origin of this word? A person's name? A
geology term? I see Tapeats this and Tapeats that (creek, terrace,
amphitheater, rapids,...

longest below rim
From other post, it seems that the longest below rim so far is one
for 80 something days, people, if I could do 20 days I would probably
be kissing...

snow here, snow there
Some one mentioned a few days ago about 3 feet of snow on the north
rim, any one have pictures of that or is it off limits.

Doc,
I usually make the rim hikes day hikes, which can be quite long.
However, I have cached water on the Walhalla Plateau as well as on
Widforss Point....
