Hello, new to the group, but not new to The Canyon. Any recent hikers have input (any catagory) for the above loop (a tamed down Steck I Loop)?

Bob, that boardwalk is still there along with the spikes pounded into the Redwall that provide a man-made break.

Most, if not all, of that stuff was still there in 2000 - concrete slabs, piles of old lumber, wire, thick cables, etc. Â Probably can't see it from the...

The tram site mentioned on the opposite Redwall rim had a lot of items left behind in the early '70's. There was even a flattened wood building there I think....

I have frankly forgotten where George had the caches at South. Allen had wanted to attempt a direct climb to the Redwall. I belayed him up a wall to the left...
