25 years after the the thru-hike, we discovered the hardware that Robert mentioned in his log when we rappelled through Buckfarm Canyon. There was 3/4" rebar...

Bob, that boardwalk is still there along with the spikes pounded into the Redwall that provide a man-made break.

Most, if not all, of that stuff was still there in 2000 - concrete slabs, piles of old lumber, wire, thick cables, etc. Â Probably can't see it from the...

The tram site mentioned on the opposite Redwall rim had a lot of items left behind in the early '70's. There was even a flattened wood building there I think....
