Tip: if you are going to the Cave of the Domes, careful with your step. Lots of dust that covers the ground and fools you into thinking there is solid footing...

I don't know the miles from Hermits Rest to Dripping Springs, but it is 5 or 6 miles from Dripping Springs to Hermits Rest along the rim, I did not pay...
