It seems like the NPS wants to keep the existence of the hiker/biker sites quiet ... I could find nothing about this online. ...

I took the shuttle south to north in late September 2009, and it was a van -- 9-passenger, maybe -- filled to capacity, so we were glad to have a reservation....
