Bypass below Cathedral Wash
I did a nice little looping hike from Lees Ferry to Cathedral Wash a couple of days ago. The weather was perfect, especially for the walk back to Lees Ferry....

Adding Alum is just part of the settling process. You'll still need to wait a little but the Alum should speed up the settling process.

So, if the amount of alum is (say) too much, then the alum is then an added
solid particle.
Like I said before, I haven't used alum, I settled and filtered....
