It's not an easy route to plan for during monsoons as they can occur over a big window of time. Too many inexperienced Canyon hikers seem to pick this time...

vertical line of sight. The disadvantage is that they are heavy and

    Any time you have direct line of sight to the south rim, you should have a bar or two show up. Cell service in the corridor seems to improve...
