If you are hiking with others, you could also just add some heavy rocks to
their packs.

North Rim questions

I agree Doug.....my bottles on my Golite Jam 50 go into the main compartment, because of how they stick out and catch on rock.

Don't forget 4mm ties, pebbles, trees and heavy brush! I like to take a pebble, tie it in to the tent side (usually I just use an ultralight tarp, though)and...
