I have no reason to know who he is. Never met him or known anyone except Doc Thomas who was banned from Grand Canyon because of a river trip.

It very well could be a big problem. I conducted a couple hydrological mapping projects back in the 70's. Caving was discouraged but not forbidden as it is...
