It seems to be part of a general program to close many of the
traditionally used rim roads. Cape Solitude andd Tiyo Point roads
would be other examples of...

What is the NPS justification for closing that road? Does anyone know? I was

I find it interesting that you violated an National Park regulation
(entering the closed road) and justified that violation because you
did not want to pay...
