Looks like when you add up the cost of the "pop" every few weeks, the
dentist bills after drinking all that "pop" and the cost of the duct
tape I'm gonna...

I throw away the soda bottles after one or two uses. They cost
pennies if you buy a cheap soda (50-90 cents). I can't even imagine
using them for a year....

I used those soda bottles for some time for caches and frankly would
never use them on the trail. After less than a year or two they
crack and...

I used the same method (two 2 liter soda bottles) until I began
carrying a water bladder/tube for easy drinking, but I still carry
one soda bottle as backup...
