Stone Creek is very reachable from Tapeats, but you will have to
cross Tapeats at least once. This might be more doable just above
the Thunder...

If the flow in Thunder River or Tapeats Creek isn't too high,
hiking up Tapeats to Crazy Jug Canyon and beyond makes for
an interesting day hike. You can...
