I first saw the wild horses in 1983, when we chased then in a commercial
helicopter flight (before there were any regulations) Than I saw them...

I got my photos back and I have attached one showing the "small
horses" we saw (and that we thought were burros). They really
are the funniest looking horses...

The river route is a choice between going high, crossing gullies, or
bushwacking. I found the former easier. By now, there is surely a well
