Someone wrote history of these trails for NPS, but I think done under
auspices of NAU.
Of course, the trails go way back further than the eraly tourist days...

This trip was last Sunday thru Wednesday.
BCO's most recent water report for Grandview to
S Kaibab was over 2 weeks old.

- I tried to follow the Trail shown on the map and now known as the
Bill Hall in the early 70's....

The Surprise Valley trail to Deer Creek doesn't show on earlier
surveys, but I know that...
