There are several highways leading to the South Rim but the most
scenic is Highway 180 which goes past Humphrey's....Suspect you are
thinking of Highway 64...

How about some alternative hikes for those headed in the direction of
the canyon or around Flagstaff...
I can't believe some people think the only good hike...
