I would strongly recommend you do not hike in N.M. There is only one person,
employed in the state for rescue (coordinator). All the rest are volunteers...

I'm sure that we have plenty of Airborne Rangers in the National Guard willing to perform a rescue. Outragious prices by rescuers can come down to 50-70...
