I have to disagree.
The decommissioning of Glen Canyon dam would have significant impacts
on Grand Canyon. Buried in all the incivility you mention there...

The ones above the Supai Tunnel on the NK were slightly larger than a
black house fly but slower---you could swat them...

I got bit by a couple of those buggers on the Tanner trail in April - they
actually draw blood and because they are so small and hard to see you can't
swat...
