They included a lot of small rocks, with an occasional
huge splash for added amusement. This was the first
time I've seen anything like that, so I can't say...

From "lunch beach" on a smoothwater raft trip; dam to
Lee's Ferry. Not really in Grand Canyon, but I think
the point is made!

There is more than a good chance, North Rim officially
closes on Oct. 15th, every year. The road is not
plowed after that date, so if there is a snowstorm...
